One of the biggest factors that will determine your dumpster rental pricing is the size of your dumpster.  The bigger the dumpster, the more expensive the rental.  Another thing that you need to keep in mind though is the weight of the trash being thrown in.

Most dumpster rental companies will include a weight allowance on a dumpster.  If you go over the weight limit, you will be charged extra.  If you are planning on throwing away very heavy items like concrete,  you will want to keep in mind that you might get charged extra if you go over the stated weight limit.

Some companies will charge you per mile hauled as well (we do not).  Make sure to ask if there are any additional fees like driving distance that you need to be aware of.

The duration of your rental will also make your price vary.  Most dumpster companies allows you a few days with the dumpster at no extra cost.  You will want to clarify the rental terms to see how much time you allowed with the dumpster before you get charged for additional days.

Booking

You can rent you dumpster through the phone or online with most dumpster companies.  Typically, you want to get in contact with a dumpster company at least 3 days ahead the date you need your dumpster delivered.  

You can reach most companies via phone call or book online.  Once your booking is confirmed, your dumpster is on its way.

Delivery and Pick Up

Before a dumpster is delivered, you should speak to company representative to let them know where you want your dumpster placed.  Typically, this will happen before your order is confirmed but it is always good to clarify.  

One thing to note is that some cities like Park City, require you to have permits for a dumpster if you want to have it placed curbside.  Make sure to check with your local municipality to see if this is necessary.
